Riverbanks Counseling is a safe place for those navigating anxiety, depression, and general life stressors.

  • Anxiety

    Let’s be clear, anxiety and depression are NOT the same thing. They each have their own unique experiences and difficulties. Research has a deep understanding of anxiety and thus, effective treatment methods. You won’t leave Riverbanks Counseling with zero anxiety, but instead will have tools to help you understand it and better manage it.

  • Depression

    Do you have feelings of worthlessness or lack of interest in activities that you once enjoyed? Are you experiencing loss of appetite, sleeping problems, and/or just an overall sense of feeling down or hopeless? Depression can present at many different times in our lives including following a major loss, after experiencing trauma, and can even be co-morbid with anxiety.

  • Life Stressors

    Let’s face it, life is hard. We all experience events in our lives at one point or another where our sense of normalcy is disrupted and sometimes even our sense of self. Maybe you are just looking for some extra support as you start a new career, work on re-establishing your identity, or start a new venture. Whatever your stressor in life is, it is valid and there are ways to cope.
